The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has policies that stipulate environmental and social considerations in its lending, an accountability system that allows affected residents to file objections, and a policy that stipulates how information held by the ADB is made public, and each policy has been repeatedly revised. As JACSES, we are challenging ADB and Japanese government on these policies and programs in order to avoid environmental destruction and human rights violations caused by the ADB loans.
